Face- to-Face ( In-person) Therapy
This takes place in my private therapy room at home in Oakham. Face to face therapy is the original and most traditional way of having therapy.
Online (Video) Therapy
Online (Video) Therapy
Taking place via a secure video platform using the internet. Just as effective as Face-to-Face with equally as successful outcomes, this method of having therapy has become more in demand as people have become used to working from home.
Benefits:
Convenient and cost-effective, saving you time and money when travelling. Able to have home comforts around you during therapy, such as your own sofa or a cup of tea.
Considerations:
You must have a secure internet connection, privacy at home for the session and feel confident using your phone, tablet or computer to access the session.
Therapy via Telephone
Here your session will take place over the phone, where I will call you at an agreed time.
Benefits:
Saves you time and money not having to travel to your therapy session. Is ideal if you prefer not to be seen and can engage better with just voice contact. Another benefit, is that when using just one of the senses, in this case, hearing, great progress can be made in therapy.
Considerations:
If using a mobile phone, make sure you have plenty of charge, enough credit, a power source if needed and a good signal. If your arm or ears are likely to get sore over the hour, a headset or earphones are a good idea.
Therapy via Text
An appointment of one hour is made ( the same duration for all therapy sessions) during which time we will exchange live text messages instead of speaking.
Benefits:
Like all remote therapy sessions, this one saves you time and money not having to travel to your session. This method of having therapy is ideal if you find you feel more comfortable expressing yourself through writing.
Considerations:
Make sure your phone has enough charge, or a power source, a good signal and enough credit.
Therapy Outdoors
Essentially the same as Face-to-face therapy, but out in the open air. For some people being amongst nature can be calming, encourage thinking and reflection, adding to the benefits of therapy.
I provide therapy outdoors in a beautiful open, cottage garden space in Rockingham, at the foot of the castle.
