"Leanne has been such a major part of my life for the last few years, after losing my Nan, we discovered my Dad had terminal cancer. Meeting with Leanne each week and during covid through team meetings, gave me the chance to talk how I was feeling, coping and giving me the support and strength to be there for my Parents. She always had the time for me, and after each session I felt lifted to feel it was ok to feel the way I did. I wouldn’t know where I would be without the kindness and advice Leanne gave me xx"

"I highly recommend Leanne as a competent and effective counsellor. I felt listened to without feeling judged. Leanne is caring  and empathetic and provided me with a safe space to explore my problems. I feel less anxious and more happy expressing myself and more able to pursue the things I really love."

"Although It can be really difficult opening up to a counsellor, I definitely didn’t find this with Leanne, as she’s caring and calm and made me feel very relaxed and at ease in our sessions, I never felt judged by her, in fact it really felt like she understood me and was there with me. Our sessions gave me  real insight into what was happening with me,  especially why I was feeling and acting in a certain way. Leanne helped me to see myself in the present and look at the past to see where ideas, emotions and patterns of behaviour came from. Working with Leanne helped me look at myself, my life and the experiences that shaped me, both positively or negatively.  I’m in a much better place in my life thanks to the work I did with Leanne and I can’t recommend her highly enough."

"Thank you so much for every session. I don’t know where I’d be today without them. You have shown me so much kindness and support and given me the space to let go without feeling judged. Thank you so much."

"I have struggled with OCD for over 20 years and it's been something that has caused me a lot of distress and anxiety. Leanne is the first person I have ever spoken to that has positively helped with managing the issues of OCD and its everyday struggles, but more than that she has worked with me to understand the root causes that created the problems in the first place. As a result my OCD is getting smaller and smaller each day,  it isn’t such a profound part of my life anymore. Leanne has also helped me improve my self worth and as a result the relationships with my family have been much improved.  I can't recommend Leanne enough, she is an amazing counsellor who truly cares about making lasting changes, and getting to the bottom of issues in a really supportive way."

"I had been struggling with a second cancer diagnosis / treatment programme and the emotional backlash of this experience on me.  Leanne's compassionate style allowed me to speak freely about what was happening, without judgement or censure, in a really safe, professional space.  It was such a relief to be able to speak to someone without having to manage their emotions as well as my own.  I found that I felt really heard by someone - possibly for the first time in my life - because Leanne was able to reflect things back to me in a way which challenged my thinking and helped me to explore what was going on for me.  Thank you Leanne for your wisdom, your insight and your encouragement throughout this process - you have truly helped me to heal and move forwards with my life."

" When, after almost 2 years, I found myself still massively struggling with the effects of the unexpected death of my dad, I decided it was time for some professional help. I had a brief chemistry session with a few therapists and chose Leanne to work with me as I felt she was the right fit for me - and I’m so glad I did.Rapport and a good professional connection was built quickly and I fully trusted Leanne immediately which was key as we worked through my challenges. Leanne’s style really suited my needs - she’s open and honest, worked at my pace and pushed me gently when needed, helping me to understand what I was feeling, and why and where those feelings originated from. She enabled me to explore experiences and gave me a different perspective on some of the key moments and relationships that have defined my life up until now, as well as a really good understanding of how some things effect me to the extent that they do. Within 6 weeks or so I was feeling significantly different and continued to have weekly sessions for a few months in order to really bottom out what I needed to. During this time, we worked through a number of challenges - both from younger years and present day and explored a range of emotions - with a dose of humour along the way! Leanne helped me to create a toolkit of coping strategies which I continue to use on a daily basis and as an existing client I know that should I need to talk anything through, she will support me further. 6 months on, i can honestly say that I am a completely different person to the girl that first met Leanne and I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs some therapy. It’s often hard to take that leap into getting some professional help but once you have, you won’t regret it! The biggest testimonial for Leanne really comes from my kids who a few weeks ago told how much happier I am after therapy, hardly ever being sad or cross these days and that spending time with her made a massive difference. I will be forever grateful to Leanne for enabling me to put myself back together and get my family life back onto an even keel during the most difficult time of my life. "
